noodle [cup] and noodle pot:
cup and pot
Our premium noodle cups and pots are exclusively designed for itsu. They are double walled to keep the noodles hot but ensure the packaging doesn’t get to hot to hold. They are designed to deliver the perfect eating experience whilst also being environmentally friendly by optimising space in transit and on shelf. The noodle cups and pots are 100% recyclable.
Our stand-out spork is made of polystyrene, which can be recycled but not widely in the UK- please ask your local council if they have the facilities. In the meantime, pop your spork in the dishwasher and re-use it!
Our beautiful lids are made from polypropylene, chosen for its mixture of strength and flexibility. Our lids have great heat resistance and are strong enough so the cups can be stacked without the need to use cases- lowering overall fuel consumption by saving space in transport and also saving cardboard usage. The lid can be recycled but not widely in the UK- please ask your local council if they have the facilities.
noodle and sauce sachets
Our noodle sachets are made from polypropylene and are 100% recyclable. The sauce sachet is made from polyethylene and aluminium- necessary because our sauces are made from fresh ingredients, which need to be prevented from going off. At the moment the sachets are not recyclable but we are hoping this might change in the future as local authorities improve their recycling facilities. Watch this space!
crispy seaweed thins:
The inner plastic tray, which is necessary to keep the crispy seaweed thins in place and stop them from breaking, is made from recyclable material and is 100% recyclable. The foil outer packaging contains aluminium; vital for keeping the seaweed fresh and crispy, is currently not recyclable but we are hoping this might change in the future as local authorities improve their recycling facilities. Watch this space!
The packaging of our miso pouches are made from polyethylene and polypropylene, making them 100% recyclable. The individual miso sachet packets are also made of terephthalate, necessary to prevent oxidisation. At the moment the sachets are not recyclable but we are hoping this might change in the future as local authorities improve their recycling facilities. Watch this space!
Our bespoke sauce bottles are 100% recyclable. Delicious Asian sauces in a beautiful, environmentally friendly bottle.
